Working Mothers

Carefully conducted researches that have followed the children of working mothers have not been able to show any long-term problems, compared with children whose mothers stayed at home. 答案與題解：

1. A 此處闡明作者的觀點，只有view能代表對某方面的“見解”或“觀點”，其他選項只是單純的“想法”或是“決定”，不合題意。

2. C anumberof是固定搭配，修飾可數名詞，表示數量上“很多”。

3. A can't afford to do sth.為慣用語，表示“負擔不起……’，。

4. C 此題四個選項在語法上都能與前面的out of搭配，out of reason意為“無理的，不合理的”，out of duty與out of task意思是“出于責任，任務的”，out of necessity“有必要，出于……的必要”，綜合分析只有C選項填入此空較為合理。

5. B 固定搭配be cut out for/be cut out to do sth.意為“適合于，天生就是做某事的料”，make out“理解，辨認出;親熱”，bring out“使顯出;出版;生產”，只有B選項符合文義。

14. D 此處意為“為你的孩子做到最好”，一般用do one' s best for，而不用make one' s best，若想用give，則是give one' s best to，因此只有D選項符合要求。

15. A 上半句的quantity已經對此題的答案做出了暗示，一定是“質量”quality與“數量”quantity相對。
